Where did "County Purr Farm" come from? When I was young and would call home for help in moving from one state to another or choosing another college to attend, Mom would always put Dad on the phone...and his greeting was "County Poor Farm". However, since Dad was from Missouri, it was pronounced "purr" instead of "poor". So...in memory of my Dad and in tribute to all those furry friends of mine, I put the two together for a unique and meaningful name for my store.
