Class Descriptions – August 2015

Wednesday, August 5^th 6:15pm  “Love Your Cuttlebug” $15.00  Bring your Cuttlebug or Big Shot machine & plates and complete four beautiful cards.  We will have the necessary folders and dies to pass around in class, but feel free to bring yours if you own the ones we are using this month.

“Graphic 45 Gilded Lily Hidden Treasures Album”  $45.00

Additional supplies needed:  ¼” Scor Tape, Scoring Board with 1/8” increments, pop dots, detail cutting scissors, exacto knife and cutting mat, Vintage Photo Distress Ink & foam applicator.

Tuesday, August 11^th  6:15pm “Altered Art Class” $20.00 Have some fun altering rulers, playing cards, and a mini chunky book.  Bring ¼” scor tape, plus the items listed for our canvas class.

Wednesday, August 12^th 6:15pm  “Graphic 45 Rare Oddities Folio”  $30.00  Bring your ¼” scor tape, as well as regular class tools/adhesives.

 “Art Journal Page Creations #1 & #2”  Thursday, August 13^th & 27th, respectively.  You will complete a two-page piece of art in each class. Additional supplies to bring:  Your Art Journal or two sheets of watercolor paper, Studio Medium & brush, paint brush for painting, paper towels, baby wipes, Black and White Signo Pens and Black Stamper’s Big Brush Pen.  Classes taught at 10:30am and 6:15pm both dates.

Wednesday, August 26^th  6:15pm  Artist Trading Card Club Night  Join us and bring 12 cards to swap, in the theme of “Circus”.  Cards are 2-1/2 x 3-1/2 inches, and we encourage you to put your best hand forward in creating classy cards to swap with fellow club members.  Can’t make the meeting?  Feel free to drop your cards off before our meeting time and we’ll be happy to swap for you.  This is a fun group and we always have refreshments! J

$5.00 Make & Takes are set for August 1, 15, 22, and 29.  Make 5 cards or a 2-page layout for this low price!  Call ahead to reserve your kit so you won’t miss out.  They begin at 10:00am, and you work at your own pace.  We close at 5:00pm on Saturdays, so we encourage you to arrive no later than 4:00pm in order to finish your projects.  Supplies will be out through the following Tuesday if you can’t make it on Saturday. 

Crop nights for August are scheduled for Friday the 7^th and 28^th, with minimum signups.  Remember to call ahead so we can plan accordingly.  Only $5.00 per person per crop.
