June Classes & Events!

Class Descriptions – June 2014

Wednesday, June 4^th   6:15pm  “Love Your Cuttlebug” $15.00  Bring your Cuttlebug or Big Shot machine & plates and complete four beautiful cards.  We will have the necessary folders and dies to pass around in class, but feel free to bring yours if you own the ones we are using this month.

Monday, June 9^th KIT CLASS – “Rodeo Fans Mini Album” $22.00  Kits available this day.  A fun mini album in a western theme suitable for pictures from our local rodeo or any other western themed events.

Wednesday, June 11^th 6:15pm  “Manly Man Cards” $20.00  Make a cool collection of cards for the men in your life. This is always one of our most popular themed card classes, and this one won’t disappoint!

“Art Journal Page Creations #1 and #2”  Thursday, June 12 & June 26, respectively.  You will complete a two-page piece of art in each class. Additional supplies to bring:  Your Art Journal or two sheets of watercolor paper, Studio Medium & brush, paint brush for painting, paper towels, baby wipes, Black and White Signo Pens and Black Stamper’s Big Brush Pen.  Classes taught at 10:30 am and 6:15pm both dates.

Kit Class – Dog Lovers Layouts $22.00  Kits available June 16^th,  which include materials to make three 2-page layouts. Complete kits here at the store or take pictures and finish them at home. 

Tuesday, June 17^th KIT ONLY “Vintage Style Birds & Flowers Mini Album”  $25.00  Using the beautiful papers from Graphic 45’s Botanical Tea collection, you will complete a gorgeous mini album.  Use your ¼” Scor Tape, along with regular class tools/adhesives, Diamond Stickles & favorite brown Distress Ink.

Thursday, June 19^th at 10:30am and 6:15pm – “Canvas Creations”  $25.00  Another great piece of art using fun layering techniques.  Additional supplies needed:  Studio Medium & brush, paint brush for painting, paper towels, baby wipes, black & White Signo Pens, and Black Stamper’s Brush Pen.

Tuesday, June 24^th 6:15pm  “Shadow Box Book – Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland” $30.00  Using the smaller Configurations Book from Tim Holtz, you will create a lovely work of art in this well-loved theme.  Bring your Scor Tape, along with regular class tools/adhesives.

Wednesday, June 25^th   6:15pm  ATC Club Night. Bring 15 cards to trade in our theme of “Three page mini art journal” on face of your card, using Stickles on your cards.  Refreshments will be served.  Join the fun!

$5.00 Make & Takes are set for all Saturdays in June.  Make 5 cards or a 2-page layout for this low price!  Call ahead to reserve your kit so you won’t miss out.  They begin at 10:00am, and you work at your own pace.  We close at 5:00pm on Saturdays, so we encourage you to arrive no later than 4:00pm in order to finish your projects.  Supplies will be out through the following Tuesday if you can’t make it on Saturday. 

“Shall we Scrap” Crop nights scheduled for Friday, June 6^th and June 20^th from 6:00pm-midnight. Cost is $5.00 per person with minimum signups.  Call to pre-register. 885-7377

NV Scrappers “Farm Aid” Crop will be held here at County Purr Farm on August 8^th & 9^th, as a benefit to County Purr Farm.  We have flyers at the store with all the information needed to sign up or to get involved in other ways.  We appreciate the effort from NV Scrappers to organize this for us, and hope to have a great turnout!
