April Classes & Events at County Purr Farm

Class Descriptions – April 2014

Wednesday, April 2^nd 6:15pm “Love Your Cuttlebug” $15.00 Bring your Cuttlebug or Big Shot machine & plates and complete four beautiful cards. We will have the necessary folders and dies to pass around in class, but feel free to bring yours if you own the ones we are using this month.

Tuesday, April 8^th 6:15pm Artsy Collaged Wood Blocks $18.00 Bring your Studio Medium & brush, along with regular class supplies and we will complete some fabulous art!

Wednesday, April 9^th 6:15pm Botanical Tea Card Collection $20.00 We’ll create a lovely collection using the papers from Graphic 45! Don’t miss out…these can be purchased as a kit also.

“Art Journal Page Creations #1 and #2” April 10^th & April 24^th, respectively. You will complete a two-page piece of art in each class. Additional supplies to bring: Your Art Journal or two sheets of watercolor paper, Studio Medium & brush, paint brush for painting, paper towels, baby wipes, Black and White Signo Pens and Black Stamper’s Big Brush Pen. Classes taught at 10:30 am and 6:15pm both dates.

Kit Class – Garden of Flowers Layouts $22.00 Kits available April 14^th, which include materials to make three 2-page layouts. Complete kits here at the store or take pictures and finish them at home.

Tuesday, April 15^th 6:15pm Pretty Notecards & Envelopes $20.00 Complete a nice collection of cards & decorative envelopes using lovely floral and vintage papers, lace, pearls, and more.

Thursday, April 17^th at 10:30am or 6:15pm – “Canvas Creations” $25.00 Another great piece of art using fun layering techniques. Additional supplies needed: Studio Medium & brush, paint brush for painting, paper towels, baby wipes, black & White Signo Pens, and Black Stamper’s Brush Pen.

Tuesday, April 22^nd 6:15pm Decorative Flower Pots $20.00 These will come in handy for hostess gifts, Mother’s Day, or just a nice gift for a friend. Additional supplies needed: Studio Medium & brush.

Tuesday, April 29^th 6:15pm By the Sea, By the Beautiful Sea – Card Class $20.00 Make a group of cards highlighting ocean scenes & activities.

Wednesday, April 30^th 6:15pm ATC Club Night. Bring 15 cards to trade in our theme of Flowers or Fairies. Refreshments will be served. Join the fun!

$5.00 Make & Takes are set for all Saturdays in April. Make 5 cards or a 2-page layout for this low price! Call ahead to reserve your kit so you won’t miss out. They begin at 10:00am, and you work at your own pace. We close at 5:00pm on Saturdays, so we encourage you to arrive no later than 4:00pm in order to finish your projects. Supplies will be out through the following Tuesday if you can’t make it on Saturday.

“Shall we Scrap” Crop nights scheduled for Friday, April 4^th & April 25^th from 6:00pm-midnight. Cost is $5.00 per person with minimum signups. Call to pre-register. 885-7377

Don’t miss our Marathon Crop Weekend May 16-18. Noon-Midnight on Friday, 10am-10pm Saturday, and 10am-5pm on Sunday. Only $25 for the whole weekend. Includes at least 3 feet of table space (usually more), bottled water & snacks throughout, make & take kit, and loads of fun. We will have a potluck lunch on Saturday for those wishing to participate. Must pre-register for the crop. No partial packages.
