January Classes & Events at County Purr Farm!

Classes & Events - January 2014

Tuesday, January 7^th 6:15pm Stylish Women Greeting Cards $18.00 Make a lovely collection of cards featuring Graphic45 “Couture” papers.

Wednesday, January 8^th 6:15pm Love Your Cuttlebug $15.00 Bring your Cuttlebug or Big Shot machine & plates and complete four beautiful cards. We will have the necessary folders and dies to pass around in class, but feel free to bring yours if you own the ones we are using this month.

Art Journal Page Creations #1 and #2. January 9^th and 23^rd, respectively. You will complete a two-page piece of art in each class. Additional supplies to bring: Your Art Journal or two sheets of watercolor paper, Studio Medium & brush, paint brush for painting, paper towels, baby wipes, Black and White Signo Pens and Black Stamper’s Big Brush Pen. Classes taught at 10:30 am and 6:15pm both dates.

Kit Class - Everyday Layouts $22.00 Kits available January 13^th, which include materials to make three 2-page layouts. Complete kits here at the store or take pictures and finish them at home.

Tuesday, January 14^th 6:15pm Paper Towel Roll Hinged Mini Album $20.00 Incorporate two fun album styles into a cute mini book ready for small pictures or quotes. Additional supplies to bring:

¼” Scor Tape.

Thursday, January 16^th at 10:30am or 6:15pm - Canvas Creations $25.00 You’ll complete another great piece of art using fun layering techniques. Additional supplies needed: Studio Medium & brush, paint brush for painting, paper towels, baby wipes, black & White Signo Pens, and Black Stamper’s Brush Pen.

Tuesday, January 21^st 6:15pm “Pretty Bird” Card Collection $18.00 Featuring pretty bird drawings & pictures from nature, you’ll complete a lovely group of cards.

Wednesday, January 22^nd 6:15pm Altered Playing Card Treat Pockets $18.00 Turn some ordinary playing cards into cute pockets for candy bars, gift cards, or everyday treats using ephemera, vintage clip art, tissue & more. Bring your Studio Medium in addition to regular class supplies.

Saturday, January 25th 10:30am-4:30pm BoBunny Doorways Album $65.00 In this all-day class you will create a fabulous interactive album using The Avenues papers and Doorway album from BoBunny. Loaded with mini albums within the main album, you'll love the finished product! Additional Supplies Needed: 1/4" Scor-Tape.
Monday, January 27th 6:15pm - Clever Clothespins for Organizing $15.00 The name says it all – decorating clothespins with an artsy look to organize your ephemera, clip art, etc.

Tuesday, January 28^th 6:15pm Vintage Style Valentines $20.00 We’ll be creating a group of gorgeous cards using vintage images of love and kindness.

Wednesday, January 29^th 6:15pm ATC Club Meeting FREE! Bring 15 ATC's in our theme of "Toys" or "Heart to Heart" and trade with those in our fun club. Refreshments will be served.

$5.00 Make & Takes are set for January 4, 18, and 25. Make 5 cards or a 2-page layout for this low price! Call ahead to reserve your kit so you won’t miss out. They begin at 10:00am, and you work at your own pace. We close at 5:00pm on Saturdays, so we encourage you to arrive no later than 4:00pm in order to finish your projects. Supplies will be out through the following Tuesday if you can’t make it on Saturday.

“Shall we Scrap” Crop night scheduled for Friday, January 31^st 6:00pm-midnight. $5.00 per person with minimum signups. Call to pre-register. 885-7377

Don’t miss our Marathon Crop Weekend January 10, 11 & 12. Noon-Midnight on Friday, 10am-10pm Saturday, and 10am-5pm on Sunday. Only $25 for the whole weekend. Includes at least 3 feet of table space (usually more), bottled water & snacks throughout, make & take kit, and loads of fun. Must pre-register. No partial packages.

Special New Year’s Day Crop from 10am-8pm $15 per person, includes lunch. Call ahead to pre-register.
