Class Descriptions – August 2013

Steampunk Spells Mini Album Tuesday, August 6^th  6:15pm  $25.00 Learn a new way to build a mini album using paper bags, chipboard, and canvas cloth.  Loaded with pockets and embellishments.  Additional supplies needed:  ¼” Scor Tape

Wednesday, August 7^th  6:15pm  Love Your Cuttlebug $15.00  Bring your Cuttlebug or Big Shot machine & plates and complete four beautiful cards.  We will have the necessary folders and dies to pass around in class, but feel free to bring yours if you own the ones we are using this month.

Tuesday, August 13^th  6:15pm Gypsy Grunge Mini Album $25.00  Another fun mini album to create, loaded with pockets & goodies in famous gypsy style.

Wednesday, August 14^th 6:15pm  Cards for Open Minded Women $20.00  Another round of those fun retro cards with the quirky sayings.

Art Journal Page Creations #1 and #2.  Thursday, August 8th and 22nd 10:30am.  You will complete a two-page piece of art in each class. Additional supplies to bring:  Your Art Journal or two sheets of watercolor paper, Studio Medium & brush, paint brush for painting, paper towels, baby wipes.

Canvas Art  Thursday, August 15^th  6:15pm  $25.00  Bring Studio Medium & brush to apply, regular class supplies, paper towels, baby wipes.

Tuesday, August 20^th 6:15pm  Teeny Tiny Mini Book $15.00  This one’s a cutie you won’t want to miss.  Time to get small…

Wednesday, August 21^st 6:15pm  More Paper Doll Tag Art $20.00  Complete a cute collection of tags featuring Julie Nutting’s adorable paper doll stamps!  Additional supplies to bring:  Diamond Stickles

Tuesday, August 27^th 6:15pm  Baby Themed Mini Album $25.00  Choose boy or girl and complete an adorable made-from-scratch mini album.  Additional Supplies:  ¼” Scor Tape.

ATC Club Night Wednesday, August 28^th 6:15pm  Free.  Bring 15 cards to trade, 3-1/2” by 2-1/2”, in our theme of “Movies” or “Sports”.  Refreshments will be served.

Art Journal Play Time Thursday, August 29^th  10:30am-3:30pm  Includes blank stitched watercolor paper journal, and access to DJ’s paints, stains, sprays, and special Tim Holtz, Dyan Reaveley, and Studio 490 stamps. Plus, a load of magazines to cut out images from.  Bring paper towels and baby wipes, plus any adhesives you may need for your journal (i.e., Studio Medium).d

$5.00 Make & Takes are set for August 10, 17, and 24 this month.  Make 5 cards or a 2-page layout for this low price!  Call ahead to reserve.  Supplies will be out through the following Tuesday if you can’t make it on Saturday.

Crop nights are scheduled for Friday, August 9^th and Friday, August 23^rd, 6pm-midnight. $5.00 per person with minimum signups.  Call to pre-register.
