Class Descriptions – April 2015

Thursday, April 2^nd 10:30am and 6:15pm  “Funky Folio”  $20.00  Spend some artful time decorating a Tim Holtz small Folio with paints, stamps, and loads of funk.   Bring ¼” Scor Tape, baby wipes, paper towels, and good cutting scissors, along with regular class adhesives/tools.

Wednesday, April 8^th  6:15pm  “Love Your Cuttlebug” $15.00  Bring your Cuttlebug or Big Shot machine & plates and complete four beautiful cards.  We will have the necessary folders and dies to pass around in class, but feel free to bring yours if you own the ones we are using this month.

“Art Journal Page Creations #1”  Thursday, April 9^th.  You will complete a two-page piece of art in the April 9^th class, and a collection of background pages in the April 30^th “Quick & Beautiful Art Journal Backgrounds” class. Additional supplies to bring:  Your Art Journal or two sheets of watercolor paper, Studio Medium & brush, paint brush for painting, paper towels, baby wipes, Black and White Signo Pens and Black Stamper’s Big Brush Pen.  Classes taught at 10:30am and 6:15pm both dates.

KIT:  Available April 15^th – Sweet Little Fairy Book  $20.00  This mini book takes you into a land of fairies, following their adventures in the garden & woodlands.

Wednesday, April 29^th  6:15pm  Artist Trading Card Club Night  Join us and bring 12 cards to swap, in the theme of “Hand Drawn Art”.  Cards are 2-1/2 x 3-1/2 inches, and we encourage you to put your best hand forward in creating classy cards to swap with fellow club members.  Can’t make the meeting?  Feel free to drop your cards off before our meeting time and we’ll be happy to swap for you.  This is a fun group and we always have refreshments! J

“Shall we Scrap” Crop nights scheduled for Friday, April 10^th and 24^th, from 6:00pm-midnight. Cost is $5.00 per person with minimum signups.  Call to pre-register. 885-7377

May is National Scrapbooking Month, and we invite you to join our Marathon Crop Weekend May 15-17, to work on your projects/scrapbooks!  Prizes, make & take project, bottled water, sweet & salty snacks, and loads of fun for only $25.00. Must pre-register.

Marathon Crop Weekend March 13^th (noon-midnight) 14^th (10am-10pm) and 15^th (10am-5pm).  Just $25.00 per person, which includes at least 3 feet of table space (usually more), sweet & salty snacks, make & take kit, bottled water, and loads of fun. No partial packages.  Prepayment required.  Come join the fun and get those pages & projects done!

Thursday, February 5^th 10:30am and 6:15pm  “Image Transfer Technique Workshop” $15.00

Learn some fun ways to transfer images using packing tape, contact paper, gesso and gel medium, and more.  This is a class to learn skills you can later apply to your creative art projects.

Saturday, February 7^th Noon – “Mom & Me Valentine Card Class” $10.00  A fun class for Moms & kids, where you’ll make some cute Valentines.  Kids must be accompanied by Mom or Grandma.  Price of $10.00 is per class kit.  Moms can make their own, or just help the kiddo with theirs.
